Irvine S. Ingram. ca. 1963-1970.

In the 1960s, former West Georgia College President Irvine S. Ingram wrote a weekly newspaper column relating the history of Carroll County. In "Do You Know Your County?" he covered topics such as courts, public schools, the Fourth District A & M University, churches, and biographies of prominent men and women. Towards the end of the series, he often included excerpts of J. C. Bonner's books, rather than writing the column himself. This collection contains two photo albums with newspaper clippings written by Irvine S. Ingram. The collection begins with the article from February 7, 1963 and ends with February 14, 1970. Some articles are missing, such as the entire set from 1967.
